My Happiest Client

I’ll never forget the time I had my first bride start to cry over her bouquet. When you’re a florist working any wedding, all your energy goes towards the finished product and making sure everything is done in a timely manner. In the middle of it all, I usually drop off the bridal bouquet to the girls. Sometimes they’re not all there or the bride is missing, so I can never gauge first looks when it comes to the designs I produce.

One time I dropped off the bouquets to the bridal party and the bride made a sudden gasp. I was so shocked by the noise, I thought she might start screaming. To my utter delight, she was smiling, on the verge of tears staring at the bouquet I created for her. I was so relieved to see this happen before my eyes. I almost cried too!

It’s a blessing to see such a positive reaction from all the hard work one puts forth in the midst of chaos.
