Herb Garden with the Hubby

The other day my husband and I decided to start an indoor/outdoor herb garden. We live in a one bedrooms apartment with no balcony, so we’re limited on spacial options. We thought it would be a fun, bonding activity during the quarantine. We had to make a run to our local Home Depot, but we were in and out for the most part.

We thought it would be fun to set up one of our phones to take a time-lapse of our creations. I thought it turned out great and it was pretty easy to put together. This is all you will need:

1 Planter Box with holes for drainage (I recommend 12-24 inches if possible)

Organic soil

Small river rocks

Trowel

Gloves

Herbs of choice

I was also able to update my succulent garden centerpiece for the dining table. I love the colors! So vibrant and natural all at the same time. Here’s what I used:

1 Ceramic Container

Organic soil

Small river rocks

Gloves

Succulents of choice

I’m hoping having the garden will inspire us to cook more and be more creative with our recipes. I’m currently growing basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, Thai basil, chives and parsley. What herbs would you plant?
