Stevie Nicks Inspired Wedding

Magic and love surrounds this moody, Stevie Nicks-inspired editorial photographed by Jenny Rolapp Photography. Set at The Stonehurst, this inspiration has a focus on design that is rich and romantic, with a nod to the bohemian aesthetic, and reimagines what joining two witchy souls is all about.

The Stonehurst is a 1930s old school horse ranch tucked away in the shade of Shadow Hills California. It was later converted to become a scenic venue surrounded by gardens and other natural details. Not only is there an original barn but also a modern greenhouse nestled in between the barn and ceremony area. Surrounded by mountain views and breathtaking cactus gardens, it takes one away from the city life of LA.

Photographed by Jenny Rolapp Photography and coordinated by Romance & Revelry, the rich colors of choice were inspired by deep tones of navy, burgundy, emerald and mustard with accents of gold. The colors are the perfect palette up against the neutral, desert-like gardens for a striking contrast. This all plays out thoughtfully in the use of florals, food and detailed decor accented to enhance the overall witchy vibe.

The two brides make their vows under a blessed tree promising their undying love to each other. Stevie is enveloped in an airy, goddess-like dress from Daci Gowns that looks like it was made by the hands of fairies. She graces the ceremony site with an intricate gold laced crown designed by the amazing Julie Harris Designs. Lindsey is dressed to the nines in her flowing emerald jumpsuit, flower decorated hat and a gorgeous wedding ring designed by Princess Jewelers.

After the ceremony, they make their way to the reception greenhouse where they enjoy a feast holy enough for the goddess herself. The table, provided by Provenance Rentals, is abundantly filled with a colorful array of cheeses, meat and fruit accented with delicious herbs made possible by Tastebuds Catering. The stationary created by Dana Britni Designs accents the deep tones in the design to bring a sense of magical love built upon the power of the sun, moon and stars. These themes are carried through from the bold design of the invitation envelopes to the delicate details included in the rest of the signage.

Mixed with the feast are lush florals, provided by Rebel & Rogue Floral Couture, growing from the table and spilling out into the food. With the moody flowers, are breathtaking crystals, candles and tarot cards protecting the lovely couple from outside evil forces. From above, the brides are seated under a beautiful hanging installation protecting their holy space.

In the garden, our newlyweds enjoy some alone time with a delicious glass of wine from The Blending Lab. They move to the cactus garden, where they cut a simple, romantic drip-cake created by Sugar Studio LA.

Once the sun has set on this land, the brides finish up their magical evening outside the barn to enjoy gourmet desserts at the s'mores bar made possible by La Tea Da by Ruth.

It’s happily ever after for these witchy women!
